Where's it made? I had quite a bender at last year's Oktoberfest (Mt. Angel Ore-gone). I drank nothing but Altas blackberry cider. I had to sleep it off in a local cathedral and I'm glad I wasn't driving. Not so much that I was really buzzed, but I was really tired and the booze wasn't helping. I went with a co-worker, so it was a blast. ![]()

Magners Irish Cider is a brand of cider produced in County Tipperary in Ireland by the C&C Group. The product range includes the cider varieties: Original, Light, Pear and Berry. The cider was originally produced as Bulmers Irish Cider and continues to be sold under that name in the Republic of Ireland, although the product is no longer owned by H. P. Bulmer; it is sold as Magners in Northern Ireland.

I'm enjoying a second glass of this as I write...
![]() I've not come across this before, so at £4.00 off (£16.00) at Tesco today I thought I'd try it (still some birthday cash burning a hole) It has a lovely caramel smell and flavour, with a distinct burn of ginger, I'd say Full 40% proof 'Sailor Jerry' was the nickname of tattooist Norman Collins, who plied his trade in WW2 Honolulu

![]() ![]() ABV 5% from ASDA's four for £6.00 range "Glorious golden ale" it says and I wouldn't disagree. Hoppy and with a perfect balance of honeyed sweetness and bitterness, this is a fine tasting ale. I love the nose-art, although this isn't explained on the label.

Well, I tried at least half a dozen Mexican beers recently and can't say I rated any of them.
Reminded me of the honeymoon in Cyprus way back when I couldn't find a decent tasting wine or brandy. |

![]() ![]() "Dazzling Golden Beer" it says. Good and very crisp dry taste, but at only 3.5% it actually tastes stronger than the 'Farmers Blonde' below. It has a nice, resinous aftertaste

![]() ![]() Bought for £1.47 reduced from £2.19 at the Co-op. Dry and crisp, ABV 4% and a good, healthy blonde (was Felicity Kendall ever a blonde?)
