APR-1/SPA-1
Picked this up in OCT '43 between patrols (not cheap either).
Radar counter measure. I'm Using TMOwtw, does it really do anything in the game(like tell me there's someone close with Radar, possible detecting me)? I haven't seen or heard anything that relates to it yet. |

RWR/ESM/EW do work ingame as I have them installed on the periscopes of the modern nuc boats I've done. You'll get a report of "Detecting Radar Signals" and a green bearing line on the nav map.

If it's early war only the larger capital ships will have radar, most of the escorts won't have it until late war.
