I thought of that when I was building this sub simulator. All the amazing work people have done with home flight simulators. The question was "what could we do for a submarine simulator".

The sub simulator is still going strong. The lower Coroplast walls started to bow out over time due to the weight load. I've reinforced the sides with vertical pieces of 1x2 wood.

Last year I replaced the 30 inch monitor in the top skydome/ open bridge position with a 55 inch LED TV. Now the monitor covers the entire 4 foot wide forward exterior view of the world.
