It takes a week or more to load an external torpedo into the sub, this is with the last version of TWoS on a clean install. Even clicking the torpedoman and turning on that ability does nothing, is there a value in a config somewhere I can check to see where this is based in?

This is probably the better place to put this.

The game crashing was fixed by using the DVD sh5.exe

However now, when I get on board the boat, and set slow ahead
it crashes. Very wierd.

I set up a brand new campaign, took my mission, boarded the boat, checked the TDC was fully manual now (yay); and set slow ahead to leave port and crash!

[EDIT - 1]: So I tried again. Started a new patrol in new campaign, periscope went up in the Uboat pen, I pressed PgDn to lower it, and the game crashed
to desktop again. Does this mod actually work at all???? I'm just having no luck at all with it.

[EDIT - 2]: I removed all mods from TWoS_JSGME app, and ran SH5 again. Splash screen showed WoS. Started new campaign again, set to Happy times.
Took the first mission, started patrol. Lowered the periscope, and started to plot a course. I got as fat as laying the course to just outside the harbour and
it crashed. No mods! I'm at a complete loss!

Yeah, I figured out the REAL bug with loading external torps, and will go back to pretending they don't exist.

I still need help with this:

I am using the DVD sh5.exe from the forum, and installed exactly as recommended. It still crashes though. even if I remove all the TWOS mods from JSGME it still crashes.

Hey guys,

I've just started my carrier in TWOS 2.2.17, and noticed that in the hydrophone panel the button on the bottom left was missing. And this also happens on all types of VII boat, when I open any of the historical missions...

Sorry I didn't upload the screenshot correctly, but is this normal? If the button has something to do with the sonarman's skill?

Hi.

I'm owner of LG ultrawide monitor 21:9 with 2560x1080 native resolution. This is the same resolution in my Windows 10.

In SH5 with TWoS 2.2.1.7, in graphical options i have choose 2560x1080, but the initial screen and the binoculars not seen correctly.

Examples:

Only happens with the binoculars. In the UZO, observation periscope, etc. its OK. I tried to activate the mod 21:9 with JSME but nothing happens...

Any suggestions?

Hello shipmates.

I have a couple of small problems in TWOS. Essentially, I need to stop the Navigator from driving me round the bend with constantly rattling on "We are in shallow waters".
There used to be a mod that cured this. Damned if I can find it in downloads.

Secondly, I am experiencing depth keeping problems as well.

Any help appreciated.

Hello!

I have a problem with TWOS.. after doing some hours of campaign I saved and quitted. When I try to load it again it just crashes the game and sends me to my desktop. I have tried to load all three of my different saved games, all ending with the same result.

Does anyone have a clue of what might be wrong? I am running the game as an admin on W10 x64.

Mod doesnt work anymore.
Maybe its an Uplay-Update or something else.
No matter what I do, starting new career or going to the museum : always crash back to uplay.
Worked fine one year ago. I didnt change anything on my Toaster here

Any help appreciated. __________________ The objective of every dedicated Captain must be to anticipate problems and move swiftly to eradicate them. However, it's somewhat difficult to remember that your initial objective was to drain the swamp, when you are up to your ass in alligators!.
