Good day Captains!
Playing SH4, FOTRSU .71, and I'm looking to see if a mod exists to make time acceleration/deceleration a bit more convenient. What I have in mind is a small grid of buttons so I can just click on the time acceleration level I want, and also to change the keybindings for pause and return to x1 acceleration. I did a bit of searching but so far nothing seems to be jumping out at me. Anyone know of such a thing? Thanks! Midcon |

Have any one seem the mod for SH4 on time management like in UBOAT game. Maybe have some tips, like change levels of compression. In perfect some buttons like button - 12x, button - 48x, button - 150x, button - 1800x, button - 6500x

Ubi programmed the Silent Hunter series with time compression (TC) by powers of 2 only. our only option is to use the Plus (+) key until the desired TC is reached. in truth, SH4 does not operate well above 1024 TC. Lots of funky things occur when higher TC is used. even once. also, don't shell-out to Windows and return to SH4. lots of bad things happen, including unexpected crash to desktop (CTD). good luck. ![]()

Just a thought. The OP might try using Voice Attack.
If Voice Attack works, which I think it probably would, he would probably have to have each time acceleration setting set up as a macro key sequence resetting the time acceleration to 1 followed by a series of (+) key presses to the acceleration desired. This leads to another possible usage regarding actual speed control which would be simpler since there are specific keys assigned for each speed. might be fun to voice command "All Ahead two thirds" and have the sub actually respond to 2/3 speed. hmmmmm It would breathe new life into an old game. Voice Attack is currently $12 on Steam.
