As a retired LEO, I'm sure you can appreciate the phrase, " It's only illegal if you are caught. "

Seriously, it wasn't illegal in Vegas and I think Atlantic City. If you lived in another state, you had your " book maker " with connections in Vegas make your bets for you.

As the saying goes, " What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. "

You can't legally gamble in any state in North America except Nevada, New Jersey, Miss, Tenn are the only ones I know of, but those pesky Indians have invoked an old tribal treaty that says their land is sovereign and that they can have casino's, but not in every state and then of course even the Indian casino's are limited in what they can offer to play ... no craps, no roulette wheel for example.

Some states like California have poker parlors and Indian Casino's I suspect they will be petitioning the state to allow sports betting.

Freedom to wager on sports will embarrass the USA someday ... Please organized crime stay away from NFL football

Me thinks Hawaii and Utah are the only two states that do not permit gambling. All other states permits some form of it.

This court decision is significant. It may affect other areas such as state marijuana laws and sanctuary cities.

It is good to see the 10 amendment get some recognition

Well, I've certainly learned something from the above
