I'll be damned if that didn't work. Splash screen still says 1.0, but the 3D view is disabled in game, the anti cheating ini from 1.07.

Now if only Sub Command had a campaign that was as much fun to play. Sure it was dynamic, to a point, but the FMV with the News and the Admiral that either praises you to high heaven, or banishes you from it in 688i was just gold. Man it's going to be nice to see those things again.
