Where are your patrol areas? Other than August '39, I have never been on patrol without enemy ships(I use GWX also). It may take a while, but they come. With SH3 Cmdr, you can set your own patrol area at the start of each patrol.
What is your time compression on patrol? Too fast and you might blow right by them. Seems impossible. BdU must not like you.
