How to update to 1.4b?

OK I am doing a clean install again of SH3 in preparation for trying WAC.

I have installed SH3 stock from a digital download (Direct2Drive).

When I run it, it says in the bottom right-hand-corner I am 1.4.

I tried to run this patch:
http://patches.ubi.com/silent_hunter...ad_1.4b_us.exe

But it gives an error.

Am I already at 1.4b? What should I see if I am at 1.4b?

OK when I RMB on the sh3.exe and look at details, it says I am 1.4.0.1, which I think is 1.4b?

Yes. When they tested upgrades 1.3 and 1.4, they did the final 1.4b upgrade and forgot to rename it. You should be fine.
