The LA Weekly has an article on the "The Disaster Artist" detailing a lot of the behind the scenes of the Franco brother's film:

The article mentions a couple of billboards that were up in Hollywood for the original film; until Neal made the OP, I didn't make the connection to the film, The Room; I had seen the billboard on Highland Avenue when it first went up and didn't see any others put up, always a sign a film is very low budget and probably is quite bad; I had no idea it was that bad...
