Got to get it work, played first 2 patrols with IIA in 1939. There shouldnt be added Baltic campaign - then its very slow and unstable. Without it it works flawless, i am using only Ahnenerbe GUI mod and V16B1 patchkit. All is working well and the graphics and effects are amazing.

Great work HanSolo78

Great work HanSolo78
Thank you!
You mean stuttering or crashes to desktop?

Big campaign mean many ships and this need much CPU power.
Without Atlantic_Baltic campaign there wont be any historical events.... just stock SH3 traffic
But if that is ok for you

Good to see that you've finally released this supermod ! Thanks for your work !

Though, I would like to know if it deserves to buy a new PC before installing it !

Could anyone create a video of a pure WAC 5.0 full gameplay ?

@Kendras

Unfortunaely I dont think PCs from today are very good for SH3.
Actually the SH3. exe file would need an overhaul.
64 bit support and multi core support would help a lot regarding RAM usage and CPU power.
8 cores and up do not help SH3 in any way... unfortunately

@Han

One quick question if you don't mind. Can I install WAC 5.0 using Blitz SH3-Front End ? Is Hsies patch different for WAC? Likewise the 4GB patch? Also I already have Commander installed, how does your commander-light differ, can I use the version that comes with SH3FE?

Sorry yes I realise that's four questions

Many thanks and best regards.

FrontEnd should work I guess.. although Blitz worked in the team, we never tested it with FE. H.si patch should also work with FE & the included 4GB patch.
SH3 Commander light file has to be used from WAC5.0.
FE is not matched to WAC5.0 relating SH3 commander.

Oh, i thought that this campaign is only for Baltic events in september 39 against Polish ships.

So there is whole Atlantic theater too?

@HanSolo78: tried it already with Atlantic_Baltic campaign on, but it keeps constantly crashing even during my movement in Wilhelmshaven. Like its overloaded with too many units and ships. Its nearly unplayable and my PC isnt old - with 16 GB RAM etc...

Hi HanSolo78
Are there many differences between the campaign files of WAC 4.1 And WAC5 ?

@hauangua
Not many difference. The most important are the generic changes to the random layer. So a variety of ships will appear more than in 4.1.
And... the splitted data. Med campaign deleted from the full campaign.

These in this order:

HSIE V16B1
WAC 5.0 WidescreenGUI 1920x1080 Ahnenerbe
WAC 5.0 Subpens_Ambient_Light
Pseudodocking for WAC 5.0
WAC 5.0 Campaign_Atlantic_Baltic
WAC 5.0 H.sie Supplement to V16B1_Atlantic_Baltic

I am using Win 7 in Win 7 compatibility mode.

Pseudodocking для WAC 5.0 changes WAC 5.0 Campaign_Atlantic_Baltic.
So you need to swap.
