Hi All,
I've started a new career, made my first patrol, and now i'm docked in Lorient, ready for my second patrol. I've tried changing the boat's number in : \My Documents\SH3\data\cfg\Careers\Player --->Patrols,Patrols_0,Careers, careers_0 I still get the boat's older number. Anyone ? Thanks. |

You should use the SH3 Commander utility.
It lets you change all that kind of stuff very easity.

I believe you only need to change the patrols_0 file. Your path looks right, except for the 'player' folder. Do you have a career folder under a name also? I have both the 'player' folder and a folder of my captain's name. That is my 'active' career, and the one I went to to change. That worked for me.

robj250,
If you're docked in port, you should be able to change your U-Boat number. Select your current career under Existing Careers and then it should show Rank/Name, Status, Current Date, Last Patrol End, U-Boat, etc. Next to "U-Boat" line, it should show your U-Boat number and U-Boat Type. I'm currently in a patrol, but if I remember correctly, the U-boat number should be high-lighted blue and underlined if you can change it. When you click on that it gives you an option to change the number. Good Luck! ![]() |
