Took two tries tonight but finally got him and got away unharmed.

Used the Skipjack for her superior 6 tube firepower. I maneuvered in front of the Moskva and steered clear of the escorts' active sonar. I waited until she was 3KYD away and then showed her some scope, got a true bearing and course, then fired a spread of six Mk 16s for a WWII-style salvo. I think I only got one hit but that was all she took, she was going down by the bow and going down fast!

I turned 180 and fired a Mk37 at the approaching Kotlin DD and set it to active immediately to let him know a torp was coming his way. I went deep and fast for a bit, then went silent. No good, a helo dropped a torp right on me. I fired noisemakers at flank speed, and another torp showed up; more turns and more noisemakers. Then I rigged for ultra quiet and crept away. No damage, no flooding.
