CTD when sonar ranging

Someone more familiar with the game will have to "spy" your mods, because I'm not familiar with a couple of them - but, you could back them off one at a time and try that same vessel with sonar ranging and see if it works. BUT (another "but"?? I'd say something, but I won't), since the ranging worked on one ship, but not another, there may be an issue with the ID of that particular vessel (Type= or Class= line in the MIS file or cfg files). If you put the external camera on, can you get close enough to visually identify the ship yourself? Did you ever get a "lock" or an "ID" in the periscope? If you do, and it didn't CTD, then that's not the issue...

The game is looking up that ship, finding nothing and crashing. Not really good error handling routines in SH4. But it does not allow us to ignore errors so that's a good thing!
