Default I NEED ASSISTANCE!

i have no clue whats going on in the first mission of the campaign, ive been trying to beat the first mission with the russian sub for a while and these are the issues i have...

i can get the SOps out of the sub, but i have to surface and i get detected, im not sure if thats supposed to happen, but i can get back into the water after this so its OK

the real problem is as i try to get to the base thats to the right of the the dropoff point the water level gets lower, and i surface the ship and it STILL takes damage from hitting the ground (i think thats why)

am i not supposed to go in there, also, am i supposed to be attacking the russian vessels?

and is the helicopter with the red star chinese or russian?

Bottom right hand corner should say keel depth thats how much water is under neath the boat, try not to get it less than 2 meters.

Stay slow and quiet. And remember, you don;t have to surface to deploy your spec ops guys. Go to periscope depth and stay at 2 knots or less once you get to where you need to be. Then deploy your guys.

I believe he was talking about entering the port, which is impossible to do without surfacing.

You can move the cursor around the Nav Map and see the water depth there.

Mark the map using the Enter key with little crosses marking a path for yourself and any obstacles.

Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with this mission, there are basic skills you will need in every game.

Cheers,
David
