On 30th of January 1945, S-13 Submarine of the Baltic Fleet hit and sank "Wilhelm Gustloff", which was an armed cruise ship transporting Nazi military personnel. This was the biggest, single submarine kill of all time that is yet unmatched. The Captain of said submarine was Romanian-Soviet skipper by the name of Alexander Marinesko. |

Actually it will just involve a change of tactic's ...
Run silent, run deep tap into underwater cables for signals from HQ ... Run our own underwater communication lines 1,100 feet down just off our own coast line to launch when the signal is given. Protect them with early warning buoy's ... lots of ways to save the old Virginia class submarines. Quote:
