Teddy Bar, you can only do this if this setting will only effect the G7a Torpedo.
Reason: In 1940, tests with the G7e Torpedo (AZ-pistol) resulted that the torpedo is running always 2m deeper than set. The Kaleuns had to subtract 2m from normal depth setting. So if you have a dial with minimum of 3m, you are limited to hits in 5m depth with G7e-AZ - in realistic terms. So as opposed to G7a surface runners, we have G7e deep runners. I think you should not modify the dial, unless you can make sure that it adapts to different torpedo types and their specific problems. |
