How To Change Your Games Renown

This tutorial will show you how to increase your Renown so you can buy more equipment without having to earn it.

This is not cheating in my opinion as new equipment would have been fitted to existing U-Boats at a convenient time as it became available.

To make these changes you need to have 2 saved games 00000000 the master and your last one.
Your last saved game means the one from your last gaming session by Date and Time.
The changes are done in the Notepad.

Follow the paths until you find each Notepad.

Follow the instructions as showing in each of the pictures.
The amount of Renown you choose to enter is entirely down to you.

Picture 1 > Example of existing Renown.

Picture 2 > Zero entered to increase Renown amount.

Picture 3 > Close the File

Picture 4 > Save the change.

You need to make all 5 changes in the same format as showing.

Starting Path > C:\Documents\SH5\data\cfg
