I'm neutral about that and do not believe that one has to re-invent the wheel constantly, as long as a system works and gets polished up, I'm fine with it.
Same goes for movies.
After all, most movies are remakes of very old stories, just told differently.
Most people don't even notice that.

Why would he? He has never shown any interest in making a Predator movie. Besides, there's one already being made by Shane Black.
