And if i look at MS's policies with "Azure", virtual servers you have to lend, and the intrusive crap Win10 is loaded with, people will look for alternatives.

Same as with the Adobe products. InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop have beome the quasi standards, but you cannot buy it anymore, only lend it for a year, and to ridiculous prices. There are a lot of alternatives coming up since Adobe made the "wise" decision to act that way.
Problem of monopolies, i just wonder how one could evade those, regardless which branch.

I use Win 10, but i hate it every day.

Edit: re Spoon 11th: Right. But watch out as soon as there will be games for Linux.

With a little bit of diligence, you can play your games originally made for windows applications with Linux. The wine component essentially interfaces between Linux and the Windows version games you have thus enabling you to play your games. I did away with Windows 10 on my new units so the issues with Microsoft don't affect me one way or the other. If Microsoft or Windows 10 were such a great thing, chip manufacturers like Intel and AMD would not have made changes to the Bios on motherboards in conjunction with Microsoft on new units in an effort to prevent you from installing new operating systems like Linux on newly purchased computers.

People can either put up with Microsoft or utilize an attractive and viable alternative like Linux.
