its a beautiful sub but does it have historical ammo? i dont want to shoot the gun twice and it run out of ammo...... please have like 600 HE and 400 AP but could you add a little 3-6 inch rear gun please???

Does this need U-boat missions or any other mod to work? When I try to install it on a clean SH4 1.4 i get CTD. Help please, I so wanna see this sub ingame.

no, it uses the american side so it should work on stock fully upgraded.

and yes the ammo does accurately inflict damage ! it was an underwater cruiser after all !

Is it intentional that i cant change the torpedo loadout?

Some torpedoes are small diameter size (on swiveling turrets) others are normal size (bow tubes)

haven't played it in a looong time so I'm not sure..

use the guns !

The FOTRSU team is welcome to make a patch, though the sub was historically sunk before it could be used.. it did partecipate in the freeing of St pierre et miquelon

That Sen Taka is ~unreal~ underwater... wow. Looks weird on the navigation map, at 1x TC even...

Gonna have to try this, but I'm deep into an FOTRSU career so it might be a while before I build up the willpower to get it installed and running for a stock match.

Would it work for a stock career, or just for missions?

Surcouf:
has 2 eight inch 50 cal guns
she also packs a boat load of torps
she has 2 powerfull yet slow AF 37MM aa guns
but she doesnt have the 4 13.2mm AA hotchkiss guns as she did in real life, if anyone on here is active anymore for SH4 can we get the guns?
also she looks good on the outside but the boat is still very flawed as you can see thru it on certain parts of the cruiser.

I'm not sure there is anything like that in the game, but maybe there is. Would they mount where the 37mm are now? Do you know the time period when the guns would have been on the vessel? keltos01 has been rather busy with work lately, but he'll be along sometime and reply. I'm not sure what you're seeing with the "sea-through" portion, but are you certain you have all of the texture files where they're needed? Are you running it in Stock SH4? I'll have to load my copy up and see what I see...

yes those are a match, however the single guns looked much like a single 25mm AA gun, world of warships should give a good idea as to what the guns look like, im sure all 4 guns would have been installed in the rear of the boat

I made those guns for our japanese campaign, though nice with incendiary ammo, you wouldn't want to tackle plane with them !
