January, 1944: I left Bordeaux and had just cleared the Bay of Biscay when I came across a Bogue Class carrier with an escort of 8 various types of destroyers. I sank it with 4 fish fired from 2.5 meters. What a rush!

It was the first large warship I've encountered in 24 patrols. What really amazed me was that I was able to get away unmolested.
