I know that this is not probably the maps that you want, but, in my opinion, these maps are important.
these are the locations of alllied anti-submarine nets and minefields: 1) First mine camps made by british forces (ready from september 1915) 2) Great barrage of Dover Strait (ready from the end of 1915) 3) mine camps in north sea at the beginning of 1918 4) the Great Northen Barrage made by british and US forces at the end of 1917 5) mined camps in the eastern mediterranean made at the end of 1917 by british and hellenic forces sorry if the images are too big.

Yes! These maps are pure gold. Saving to hard drive!
BTW, slapped a coat o' paint on some models from earlier, plus details. Two sisters enjoying the sunset early in the war. The white bands on stacks helped tell sister ships apart - by 1916, these were probably painted out. Also, the 6" guns were useless in heavy seas, so by 1916 they were placed on the main deck in a much better position. Still incomplete, but IMO better than the old model, which was destroyed in the malware attack.

Sorry for the delay. And thanks again for the maps; I can't tell you enough how valuable they are! As always, when things go quiet there is work going on behind the scenes. Working on heavy units for the German navy (note the older model I am cannibalizing parts from). Also a few miscellaneous screenshots.. Weather and environment color tweaking...also, added European features to the stock Japanese lifeboat survivors - now they will have different eyes and blonde/red/brown hair &c.... Note the Signals expert (designated by his shoulder patch).

Wow, I love the Derfflinger class battlecruiser, but are you going to make the Moltke class and the Seydlitz class?
By the way, can you make the UB-1 type when you have finished this battleship? sorry for my bad english

Iambecomelife I am impressed by your dedication.
I want to ask, did you started modelling ships from scratch? Do you need artistic skills for modelling (because I can't draw damn thing) What modelling program do you use. I am getting interested in modelling ships, but I have no experience in it. Sorry for horrible English I used grammar spell checker i hope it understandable. |

The UB-1 type boats will be available.....both for player careers and as torpedo-launching AI units. However, they are not scheduled to be the next player unit that I work on. Niume, nearly all of the ships for Wolves of the Kaiser were created from scratch. The program used for modeling is Wings3d. Youtube has several good tutorials showing you how to create objects in Wings3d if you're a beginner.

Additional detailing - torpedo net booms went well, and were easy to place.
Stern hull plates slope better, although I need to study more pictures.......

other maps
Hi IABL, I've found this Swedish map of the Baltic Sea during the Great War.
dark and light squares: Russian and British mined camps. black points: wrecks. black lines: British and Russian anti-submarine nets. dotted lines: merchant routes. dotted and underlined squares: British and Russian operation zones. german cities: Danzig, Königsberg and Mamel. Russian cities: from Libau all cities were Russian, but Libau was captured by german forces on may 7th 1915 and become a submarine base in early 1916 instead of Danzig and Riga was captured by German forces after the Battle of Jugla on september 3th 1917. PS: sorry if the image is too big and sorry if this map is incomplete, but with some researches I discovered that in the Gulf of Finland there was a big mined camp and a submarine net that encircled like a first quarter of the moon the Fortress Island and naval base of Kronstadt.

Thank you for the images! And thank you to juju70 for the Greek ship names, which were PM'ed to me. Your contributions now mean less work for me in the future.
I took a break hiking this week so no big updates, but I also spent time getting source material for the other German battlecruisers. And investigated the possibility of converting my "Lutzow/Derfflinger" into other battlecruisers and battleships. It seems doable...the main thing to remember is, the older battlecruisers often had raised forecastle decks. And did not have two superfiring turrets on the bow, like "Lutzow". If you look at "Moltke", "Goeben", and "Seydlitz" you will notice only one turret at the bow. Also, some good work was done importing new particle effects - as I've said before, when a ship sinks I want it to be terrifying and dramatic! Sorry to disappoint people who want screenshots and videos, but they are coming. It's just that a mod like this requires huge amounts of behind the scenes work. I put the second WOTK video on hold, and based on the progress made since then (instead of time spent preparing a video) the decision was correct. More news and images later.

IABL I have a question about the merchant fleet, you told that the Merchant Fleet Mod will not appear, but in the Vanilla Game there are several ww1 style ships, like the Biyo Maru, the Haruna Maru, the Zimbu Maru, the Taihosan Maru, and the mossiling fishing throwler; so there will be these ships in the mod?
