Hovering over the SH3.exe will show which version you have installed. A patch can be downloaded to bring the version to 1.4b. Silent Hunter III Official Patches Run the SH3.exe and any other applications in administrator mode. If the game crashes when loading from the office change your SH3.exe that is running OS10 to run in OS7 compatibility mode.
