I think I got it! I can dl a copy from Amazon, and just follow the steps to put it in an entirely different folder, that should work right?

yes.
Mine is in C:\Ubisoft Do NOT put it in the Programs folder. Then when you install GWX 3 make sure you direct it to your SH3 install folder. |

I'd already dl'd it from Amazon, so I tried to just dl it again, and send it to a brand new folder on my c: drive.
