The inhabitants of Fruilia, Italy, just a little north of Aviano airbase probably thought the world is coming to an end.
The lightning maps site I use to track storms was blazing in that area, 2 strikes per second

Seems some politicians now have new jobs at the weather forecast.

Nah...this lot could not forecast the weather if they tried. Been like that for years and years now that's why us Brits like having a good old moan about the weather.

Weather here now dry and bright.

... yeah, what the British consider to be dry and bright...

Being under an umbrella, the newspaper stays dry and some diffuse light shines trough the clouds.

A cold front arrived with the storms on wendesday and now we have clouds with 19°C afer a 30+ heatwave

At least gardening is a bit easier now. The garden can be up to 45°C if sunny and the only thing I can do in there is die.

Well, the weather can do whatever it wants during the latter half of August and the beginning of September....not sure where yet but it'll be in much sunnier weather

Too hot for anyone else to post? The Met Office reported 32.9°C (92.2°F) at Heathrow midday today, and I doubt it was any cooler where I am. Expecting more of the same tomorrow, followed by a much cooler Thursday.
