Not to mention cherries are very finecky about weather during bloom time, but the Carniola honey bee is never tired.
So yeah, mead over cherry schnaps.

Nah, I think Slovenian mead is a myth, like the Loch Ness monster, nobody ever saw or tasted it. Though having an open mind and liver, I am open to be convinced otherwise.

I would say that Slovenia, among Finland, is the least hated state in Europe. To be fair: nobody knows where or what they are. So it's kind of the Euro equivalent to Vermont.

Isn't that the truth. UKIP's sole MP said during the BBC's referendum programme that he did not agree with the poster showing migrants travelling through "Slovakia". So while my national pride was hurt, perhaps it was a boost for our tourism, as we are now apparently refugee-free
