I know it had something to do with the Tanker and Destroyer collision but I have never seen the game zip a ship out of the way of another ship like that before. Plus my torp just vanishing was a nice touch to boot.

lukterran, it's a game bug. I'm not sure if it's in the hard coding. I haven't seen it since I've been running TMO.

Lukterran, we'd be curious to know which version of SH4, if you have mods installed, if you know about where you were, and if on a patrol or mission, or what? Thanks.

This one sounds rings bells with the 'Philadelphia Experiment'. An experiment in Philadelphia carried out by the US Navy in the WW2. The experiment was based on Einstein's Unified Field Theory. Well it is official that little bug has corrupted ever save file after it occurred.

So I had to basically erase all saved games after this little problem and start from a time prior to it.
