This game is very promising.
Think of it as the love child of Star Trek: Bridge Commander and Faster Than Light ...with 5-player-coop.

It is very early access, core features aren't complete yet and the game is FAR from fleshed out, be aware of that!
However, I haven't seen a more promising title in quite a while and after playing it with 4 mates, I can only recommend this game very highly, despite its early stage of development.

Sooo... does anyone here play it already?

Oh yea man. This is excellent to play with mates. Had a game with my DnD mates couple weeks ago and it was an absolute blast to play and a couple good laughs! And it's great play if you want live out your Star Trek fantasy as well.

What I found hilarious is that I was playing with a touch screen laptop at the time and I could tap onto the ingame computer without using the mouse. It was awesome.

Yes exactly. While I'm not really a Star Trek fan - I do like it a lot and taking place in the chair for the first time handing out orders like Picard or Kirk felt... empowering.
Also, people calling "Captain on the bridge!" when I approach does have a nice ring to it.

I figure, once the game has more content and is fleshed out, the role play possibilities could go through the roof.
