Wait, are you saying KJU is a rational person who weighs the situation and makes smart decisions?

I don't know this KJU in person only from what I read in the news and in places like Subsim.

I doubt that he is suicidal in the way he is does not care if he lose what he has and maybe his life.

Hi Markus, I have no doubt you are right, Kim Jung Un is most likely not suicidal. However, I draw a noticeable distinction between suicidal and insulated from reality and delusional. He thinks he is in the right, and is likely very confident his forces would win a confrontation--his toadies and political lackies probably tell him every day how brilliant he is and if he wanted to, he could crush South Korea and America. And that's what I think holds the most risk.

China will not allow chaos and war to break out on the Korean peninsula, which would be to no one's advantage, Chinese President Xi Jinping told a group of Asian foreign ministers on Thursday.

North Korea's drive to develop a nuclear weapons capability, in defiance of U.N. resolutions, has angered China and raised tension in the region.

"As a close neighbor of the peninsula, we will absolutely not permit war or chaos on the peninsula. This situation would not benefit anyone," Xi said in a speech to a Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia.
