LIVING SILENT HUNTER III EDITION 2015 - News & Download

Hello gang been awhile,
I just got back into playing silent hunter 3 and wanted to try my hand at the mods, I currently have gwx working flawless and wanted to check out LSH32015. so my problem right now as when i go through the installation process is that it says it cant have spaces for the file. I go to the sh3 file and it says that it cannot have spaces and then tells me to retry. Also should i uninstall gwx and could that be the problem? if anyone could help me that would be great. I'm going through steam games,common,then to silent hunter 3 file and this is where i run into spaces are not allowed in file names or path. Silent hunter 3 is on my G drive under steam games if that helps?!

Hi fasted
Do not forget that you can use the menus in Commander to enhance your game.
The tick boxes I am referring to are these in the Career Menu.
If you want to simulate a realistic captains career or have realistic crew transfers then you tick the box before the start of any new mission.
You remove the tick/s before the start of your next gaming session.

I had that problem as well until I moved the SH3 file from programs x86 to just a separate folder in the c drive then it worked

hi frankie
Never install in Program x86 folder.
Your game loading time will depend on your systems capability.

Approach the locks carefully as they are timed and do not know you are there.
I prefer to use the one to the left of the junction rather than the one almost straight ahead as this gives you more time to take a better position and adjust the speed.

When you return from your testing mission in Stralsund.
Use the Esc key
Exit patrol
Dock at Stralsund
You will find yourself at a desk.
Press on the documents at the desk and you can award promotions etc.
Any promotion here will be lost if not taken.
Then click on the telephone and request a transfer to flotilla 2 at Wilhelmshaven.
You should then see your request has been approved.

If you want to play with a realistic career or realistic crew transfers tick the box before you start a new mission (not test missions)
Remove the tick the next time you start SH3Commander but before you load the game so that any changes can only occur once in the current mission.

how do you change language from german to english .
l installed it and choose english .
start up is in english and thats it , all games in german
only downloaded this four times so far , must be doing alright then

When the game loads to the main menu at the bottom centre you will see the options button.
In options you will be able to change the language and other settings.

When doing this installation, does it start installing files right away because, the installation has just been idle for 20 minutes with 1 error: Can not open file from archive

No.
There are 2 download options.
1 single large file or 9 multiple files.
The 9 multiple files all need to be put in to a new folder.
Check that the files downloaded have not been corrupted by checking the number of bytes in each file from the link below.

After downloading LSH3-2015 restart your system.
To install the 9 files use the LSH3-EDITION-2015-STARTER-SPLIT.EXE and follow the screen instructions.
Like wise as above if you are installing from the 1 large file then extract from the zip file and use the LSH3-EDITION-2015-STARTER-FULL.EXE

SH3 must be a fresh install and not in the default Program x86 folder.
Make a new folder like SH3 so your install path will look like C:\SH3.
