ok well I took off the olc widescreen mod and just used the gui widescreen mod and was able to complete a full mission starting in DEC of 39. with a type 2A
VIA sub commander.

I tried Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920x1080 and holy crap is it awesome, but because it messes up my starting location I will wait until I transfer to France and get a type 7.

Other then that, I really love it so far, I hope she stay stable. here is my current mods

does WB's decks a wash mod work with this ?

Anything I'm missing?

Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920x1080
This mod is not compatible with the transfer process.
Start the campaign with the Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920x1080 disabled, then enable it after you do a save.
You can use the default
_LSH3-2015___GUI_WIDESCREEN mod and then swap them over.
To recap, add the mod after doing the Erobusngstelle and transfer.

This will make no difference as you still have the transfer process from Wilhelmshaven to Lorient and then the test mission.

Using a type IIA off the Rockall Bank exposes this subs limitations.
You will also find it extremely difficult to complete the missions with the IIA as you do not have enough fuel or torpedoes.
You should be able to upgrade after the first time you docked in Wilhelmshaven.

You should be able to select a VIIB in SH3Commander from the drop down box before your first test mission and also before you did the naval academy.

Hi fasted
The Procedure for LSH3-2015.
Install SH3
Install LSH3-2015
Open the JSGME application in the main game folder.
Enable 2 mods only.
_LSH3-2015___FULLVERSION
_LSH3-2015___GUI_WIDESCREEN
Start SH3Commander
Select a captain or use your own.
You can use the drop down box to change from type IIA to VIIB if it is available.
Start the game.
At the menu you can use > Options to make any changes to the language etc.
Go to the Naval Academy in the bottom left corner.
Select and start the navigation tutorial which you can do or exit the game to the desk top.
This procedure has set up your game data and created your v15 saved games folder.
Open JSGME and add the mods you want to use.
Start SH3Commander and make any changes in it that you want.
Start the game.
At the menu select new career and follow the prompts.
When the game loads to the office do not make any changes as you are going to do a test mission in the Eprobungstelle flotilla for your new boat.
Click on the map.
When the game loads you will be in Stralsund one of the test bases.
Follow your radio orders.
Dock back at Stralsund by using the Esc Key and then Exit Patrol.
You will be at a desk with a telephone on it.
Click on the documents and you can give out promotions, medals etc.
In a test mission this is the only place a promotion can be made or it will be lost.
Click on the telephone and request a transfer to the 2nd flotilla at Wilhelmshaven.
When the transfer is accepted you can exit the game.
If you want to have a realistic career or want to use the realistic crew transfers then tick the boxes before you start the games new mission.
Untick the boxes again after you have made your next game save.
This procedure should be done before any new mission but not on test missions when upgrading your boat.
When the game loads to the office this time you can explore it and make any changes to your boat and crew as well as other options that you will find.
All test missions for new boats are done in the Eprobungstelle flotilla although the bases will vary
Use the telephone and transfer back again to your flotilla.
Your crew stays with you regardless of the captains name.
You can also manage your crew in the 'click for available actions' where it is useful to give each crew member a qualification.

You can start the Naval Academy mission with whatever U-boat you want. But, you must choose it via Sub Commander first. Follow THEBERBSTER's directions.

Ok well obviously I did not do all of this. Do I now have to unsintall the entire game and reinstall again? or just delete my current campaign and take off my current mods?

Also what year do I have to choose in subcommander before I start?

Hi fasted
Delete any current career captains.
Disable your mods.
Follow my previous instructions.
As I said you can select a captain in commander before going to the naval academy.

Notice in the picture that the Eprobungstelle flotilla for testing is already selected for when you start your game for real..
Although a type IIA is showing there may be a VIIB in the drop down box that you can select now.
Notice also that the start date is approximately 1 month before the start of the war.
This means you can sail pass Scapa Flow and stick to fingers up at the Royal Navy destroyers as you make your way to your patrol grid off the Rockall Bank as war has not been declared yet.

Stick with the default year.

Tick what boxes? I already made my captain and followed your directions, there is no box to tick anymore.
