Honestly I think that would defeat the purpose of mods like Real Navigation, not to mention that you never know what you may encounter on the way to a patrol area.
The only workaround I see (not mod of course), would be to not use real navigation, plot your course via the waypoint tool, and ramp TC up, but ramping TC up too high may (likely) expose you to more CTDs. I actually enjoy traveling to patrol areas, though I'd agree that it can be boring. I like the build up. ![]()
