I was diagnosed in 2005 with acute ADHD. The doctors called it "clinical." Seriously, I really do have it and I'm not one of those who CLAIMS to have it just so that they can excuse being a super slacker. I sometimes have a very difficult time playing ANY game because I crave the mental stimulation. Without it, any distraction, even the smallest, often gets my attention and it's usually very difficult to get my brain back on track. If it weren't for the TC in this sim, I simply could not play it at all. However, even WITH TC, I often find it very difficult to stick with missions long enough to see them through to completion. Not only that, but in the short time that I've had this game, I am already finding myself with this almost uncontrollable urge to steam at flank speed into a convoy, screaming BANZAI!! and just start blasting away. That always leads to death for me because the destroyers have my number. They are psychic. They know just how impatient I am. I am glad that I wasn't a sub commander in real life during the war. We would likely not have survived our first patrol.
