I haven't seen that but have seen episodes of " Ice Road Truckers " Those people have nerves of steel that drive semi trucks over frozen lakes and rivers. I would imagine the tow truck operators probably face similar situations and weather conditions.

Catfish made a good point regarding the tractor trailer operators being under orders to " get the load through " . Sounds reasonable. Only the drivers involved can answer that. Perhaps there are driver / operators here with some insight into operations during adverse weather conditions ?
