I'm not at all surprised and I don't doubt the incident happened. If you live in a large, cosmopolitan city like NY, SF, LA, etc., the sort of behavior exhibited by the idiot in the story is not at all uncommon. I really do feel for the poor stricken lady and am glad she survived. The actions of the bar manager were, I believe, rather restrained; if it had been me, I would have given the EMTs another patient to deal with. If I lived in Indianapolis, I'd make a special effort to patronize Kilroy's...
As for the idiot, she's about to get a really good dose of kharma. I don't buy her "my account was hacked" excuse since it is the most used excuse by those who have been hoisted by their own Twitter petard. I have no empathy for the uselessly pathetic... <O>
