5.2 inch deck gun range

I really wondered if anyone would reply to my post because there is so few posts to SH4, but you giys came through-thank you.
with the mod changes that I made to my game, I try to engage at a longer range so the enemy can't get me so easily with their guns.
this was the one point that I couldn't figure out.
my version is still the sh4 1.3, and every time I try to upgrade the version-it crashes, so I stick to this version and add in many of the mod items directly into my game.
I have done the same to the game blitzkrieg-#1 over the years and have made whole new mods for it-including europe 1989- invasion of europe by the failing soviet union.
is there any new battle or add on missions that I could add to my basic game?

Versions 1.3? Ouch. I highly recommend upgrading to 1.5, a lot of problems are fixed by it along with most mods now are geared toward that version.

hey long time no see people its me kriss how are you? oh and happy new year too! now to my problem in the silent hunter 3 the crew on flak gun and the deck gun dont fire even its about ten meters!! what should i change in the range? can you help? oh and for my friends i have s small present....

So few posts to SH4? You need to adjust how many posts you see then. There's posts going all the way back to it's inception. 2. Do yourself a favor if you have steam, get SH4 and the Uboat expansion. All the great mods use it, V1.5 or buy it somewhere else. $20 on steam.
