I got so used to Classic Shell with 8.1 that I kept it. It's the only Start Menu I use.

I don't have Aero turned on. I've just noticed it and I can't for the life of me figure it out.
What is the classic shell do I have to down load that?

Classic Shell is a program that can make any newer Windows version look and act like XP, or pretty much any other older version. I use it mainly for the simple Start Menu, but it can do much more.
Yes, you have to download and install it, but the process is very simple and it comes with full instructions. http://www.classicshell.net/
