This went back-and-forth for a few days before the development department was told she was intentionally being made green

Ironically enough the green skinned "Orion " woman theme was revisited in a remake of star trek episodes. It featured original actors Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols and the Late Grace Lee Whitney and American film and TV actor Alan Ruck in his role as Cameron Frye, the best friend of Ferris Bueller, in John Hughes's 1986 film Ferris Bueller's Day Off. He forgot to wear his Detroit Red wing jersey though.
