This one is of Sailing!
But the winds quickly died, and of the scheduled 12 races, we did I think. This is being played at 50x normal speed, so you can imagine how slow it was for us, but quite enjoyable for the viewer! |

Like it, how do you judge sail trim and pointing when going to windward? can you
control the boat from anywhere around the lake or do you all have to be in the same place. |

Theyre RC, so Main and jib sheets are controlled by servo, and rudder too. Downhauls, Outhauls, Vang, etc are all preset or adjusted by hand.

We have a large lake in a public park in my town but luckily for the yacht/sailing members the park is situated just a few hundred yards from the coastline so lack of wind is seldom a problem for them.

Usually not a problem for us in this pond. Our other one is situated in a valley near a river, so the winds are down right screwy there. Last year we had to cancel a whole bunch of dates due to heavy wind, this year, we're cutting races short due to lack of wind.
