I've seen two many good friends, of four legs and less, pass on to wherever their spirit may roam. So long as you keep them in your heart, they never truly leave us.

It's been three years since Suzi, our little Lassa-Apso cross Tibetan Terrier passed away. We were a few months without a dog, which was very strange, just having two cats, but then we got our current little friend called Milly who is a Chihuahua cross Yorkshire Terrier. She's a tiny little thing, smallest dog we've ever had, but full of personality.

Here she is pretending to be a flower:

You have my condolences Cybermat, and I hope that her passing was peaceful. She'll always be with you.

Default loss of a pet friend

Deepest sympathies Cybermat.

It's never easy when your cat, dog, horse or whatever is more of a family member than a pet and you lose them.

I have friends who are involved in the rescue and foster of animals that have been displaced because of natural disasters and end up keeping the lot of them or at least a number of them.

In the end you can feel good they had a great life with you better than some and gave you their best too.

Best regards

My condolences..
Everytime you get a 'pet' or animal friend, you will mostly see its death at some time (until your own, of course). But you have to think how good it has been for this living friend to spend its time with you, rather than vegetating in an animal 'shelter'.

I saw that and ... this is our tomcat, 'Igor'
(we got him out of a shelter, he already had this name)

This is the same, playing Rise of Flight:

I had a female grey tabby Bella she would sit up on top of my chair when I was at the PC. Sometimes shed sit with her paws on my head and her chin on top of her paws all on top of my head guess it was cozy to her. Of course I'd make her move as cat paws on top of your head cat stomach on your neck is not so cozy unless it is freezing cold. But she always tried that funny pose first.

That cat was sharp she could tell if I was in a slump and then she would near constantly be right beside me. Some say that animals do not have personality or empathy I strongly disagree. This cat was a stray I found.
