I saw that this video was 38 minutes long and I tried to watch the first three minutes and figured I should not extend my watching 10X.

Crikey that guy take a while to get to the point. Do longer youtube videos make more money?

But if it's too long to watch: Yes, it is too good to be true.

Don't confuse boring inability to present with being thorough. He could have summed up this in under 5 minutes and still been thorough.

A little skill a developed that I call "reading". In the past it was a way to garner information before youtube.
