I often engage small groups of merchants with deck gun only. For unknown reason my crew is calling them Task Forces.

I think it may have to do with how Open Horizons 2 was made. Just a guess. IRAI may also be causing it, so that merchants can attempt to ram you. All guesses.

I know it's probably mod related since I do not recall this behavior when I used to play SH5 a few years ago.

Sigh.....I can only manage to shoot the occasional unlucky fishing boat. I guess I'll just have to be content with my very mediocre career in the Kriegsmarine.
