No I meant the interpretation that they are people and not something else. It's certainly possible that they are, apparently the NK's are known for doing such things, but I can't tell that from the picture in the article.

There was a series of executions recently as Jong-un cleared house of potential trouble-makers.

This could have been that, it's not unlike the DPRK to use unconventional execution methods, I believe last year they executed someone by flamethrower.

Well it's a step up from ravenous dogs used on his uncle...too bad about the opera star girlfriend perhaps she didn't sing Fatboy Kim's praises highly enough.
