Oblivion and paying for mods.

Pretty decent game. Very nice graphics, excellent open-ended play. Pretty murderous on the system though. Hopefully that will work out.

More to the point though, they just started releasing pay mods. The first one so far is one for horse armor. It's about $2 from their little pay site. Personally, it makes me ill. I refuse to pay for something like this. Whoever came up with this idea needs a good, swift beating. This is the worst idea I've ever seen. It's like creating an expansion pack in tiny pieces and charging for each piece.

Not to mention the fact that they have basically crippled the modding community by not releasing any tools to export models, so basically they are screwed. They wouldn't want the community competing with their own little mods, now would they? Grrr!

I thought that whole fiasco with SH3 and X1 was bad, but this is a hundred times worse and it's official. The entire thing is wrong in so many ways.
