I like that boat!

Cool how the two wine glasses were sitting there motionless because they were riding above the waves instead of in them.

I can guarantee you they were at anchor or at least not under sail when that shot was taken! All the videos I've seen of foiling cats, they jump and buck like crazy while flying

Love that big spinnaker not unlike the 150% jib on the Catalina which we only partially deploy. Those guys aren't wearing their life vests ...above 20 knots???!! well that's show biz! When those hulls hit the water, it really thunders!

Wow, you guys have accidents three feet away from the toilet? I guess sometimes I forget how old some of Subsims members are.

Precisely I grew up on Hobiecats and racing J-boats. None of these ad guys were in vests; they're lucky. One sailor died in a tipover in the America's cup In SF Bay trapped in a capsize. Imho: these are too dangerous.

Default Seriously haulin Aß BBY! A straight rhumb and a $3 million boat that flies

New record set...obliterated: 23 hours 9 minutes 52 seconds over the 'late' Steve Fossett's: 38 hours 35 minutes 35 seconds. 635 miles from Castle Hill Lighthouse , Newport, RI to Kitchen Shoal Beacon, Bermuda. Fossett's 125 foot catamaran Playstation averaged 16 knots- respectable- his record stood for 15 years....The new record holder 105' LendingClub II averaged 27 knots exceeding speeds of 40 knots; a fair wind and a straight 'rhumb line' were crucial to the feat- no tacking required! that's not sailing! I know...this's a whole new thing! But at least they're all wearing life jackets too! http://www.sailingscuttlebutt.com/2015/04/20/lending-club-shatters-newport-to-bermuda-record/ Alas! I managed only a brisk 6 knots today myself ....I'll have a Nelson's Blood Rhumb to celebrate! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhumb_line
