Another great has left us. There are artists who are true archetypes and Percy was on of those artist. He may not have been a huge selling act, but his influence reached far into all types of music, crossing genres and generations. There are precious few of the artists of his time and caliber still left and we are less for their loss...

Here is the Wikipedia entry for Percy; note how, through the decades, his influence has touched so many other artists. A true class act...
