Saw a tweet from May that he left the program, and he now has to write up an ebay listing for his ferrari, with the tag #unemployed.

May will land on his feet if he wants to, he was an editor for an Auto mag before, but they probably won't rehire him because he supposedly resigned by over capitalizing all the letters of the headings of an article, and the capital letters all spelled out something vulgar IIRC.

They all had careers before, they'll find something.

The ratings will be deent at first, as people will be curious as to how the show progresses, but it will either crash or thrive. I can see new blood being the energy the show needs, but if they get the wrong ones, it won't last.

I know he's been tweeting using the hashtag unemployed since the BBC took Top Gear off the air, I didn't realise he'd actually formally resigned. Still, we'll see, all three could easily pick something up on Sky or ITV.

Lap times would be significantly slower with some serious drifting at each and every corner!

Whatever is next, be it new presenters on existing TG, or Clarkson and Co off to a new network it'll be an anticlimax.

All things come to an end. Perhaps it was time for TG to end while its ratings are still high and the BBC has a ton of episodes they can show for the next 10 years.

They should bring back Junkyard Wars with this crew as hosts. I liked that show, we had it over here for a couple years, but then it disappeared. Didn't realize it was on for so long, wish they had kept showing it in the US.
