I got an email today that said that the petition (that i signed...) reached over a million signatures and that it's being taken to the BBC.

I want Clarkson back and I want TG back to the way it was.

Who else noticed that Jeremy Clarkson did the voice of "Harv", Lightning McQueen's agent, who he speaks to on the phone on the way to the Piston Cup races? That was the first intimation I got that maybe Top Gear was an international favourite.

He's probably right but one thing it will do is highlight his popularity to other potential broadcasters.

Would be nice if he did another talk-show, his last one was quite entertaining.

The latest word (from Clarksons twitter account) is that we'll find out next week what's going on, rumour has it though that he's been sacked.

I am not sure the show could not continue with out Clarkson. Given the freedom, I think the other two could put on good sketches. It was just that Clarkson was overbearing at times.

If they could find the right woman, that could be an interesting combination.

In my opinion, the quality of Clarkson's work has gone down. I feel he was resting on his laurels and sometimes just phoning it in (I can't find any more lame cliches to use).

"Hello, welcome to Top Gear. I am Jeremy Clarkson and I am going to insult stuff, act all curmudgeonly and make funny faces." Yeah, I already saw that episode.

Top Gear is one of my favourite shows. It is about the only TV show that I watch these days. It is great to watch while cooking dinner. But recently, the ration of hits to misses has been going in the wrong direction.

Maybe it is time for him to go. He has enough money he can retire and laugh at us and the BBC while driving any one of the thousands of cars he owns to the banks.
