It's doubtful it will change. ISIS consider Shias to be infidels, and Iran is both ideologically and geopolitically at odds with them. That said, I don't think Iran ever made ISIS a priority. They're far more interested in ensuring their own influence in Iraq and Syria, and keeping any expansion of influence by Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states in check. That's not likely to change, either.

On the other hand: whatever his attitude, let's not celebrate yet. Sometimes what happens in these cases is that a leader dies and gets replaced by someone with even more hardline views, and I'm certain there's plenty of clerics like that in Iran.
